With zoom classes and online exams nearing it’s important to not push ourselves past our mental and physical breaking points. It’s important to set time out of your day to avoid burn out! Some activities that may help are:
✨Going for a walk, a hike, a bike ride, or some winter activities! This allows you to get some fresh air and take a breather from school!
✨Unplug! Stepping away from school or social media can help! Setting 15-20 minutes out of your day can help you feel more refreshed and ready to study!
✨Set out time in your day to do something you love! Whether it’s a hobby, exercise, or watching your favourite show doing something you enjoy will help bring more positivity into your day!
✨ Reach out for help! Sometimes burn out can feel overwhelming and talking to friends, family, or setting up a phone in counselling appointment at Lakehead can help improve your mental health!

Your mental health comes first! Take the time today to do something that fills up your cup ❤️ - Sabrina

No matter how your feeling it’s important to rememeber you deserve understanding and love. One days we feel like we’re killing it and on days where we may not feel like we’re enough.

Sometimes when we don’t feel like we’re enough or having a bad mental health day it’s easy to forget we deserve all the love we give ourselves on our good days. You matter every single day and deserve kindness on every step of your journey — Sabrina

Looking back to a book I read over the summer, I remembered a quote that reminded me the importance of positivity. My best studying happens when I think positively and remind myself I chose to attend law school for a reason and I’m working towards that reason. If I study stressed, then my vision becomes blurred and I loose sight of that focus. —

Here’s a little remind to be positive and know that it may be hard right now but we’re working towards our dreams ✨✨
