Kids! Do you want to have your say in choosing characters for a new book series? Read on to find out more!
One of our Matawa teachers is working with educators across Canada to launch a children's book series later in 2023 that focuses on social emotional learning to help kids foster both social and emotional skills at a young age.
Stories will revolve around how to handle stress, anxiety, feelings and more. They will centre around a group of jungle animals with quirky personalities who are placed in various situations, and learn how to handle them.
They are in the process of narrowing down the animals who will become the five main characters of the series. A KID-FRIENDLY VISUAL SURVEY has been created for kids K-8 to help decide on the style of illustration that appeals to them the most, and which animals will end up in the book series!
For every survey completed, participants will have a chance at winning FREE copies of all the books from the series before the launch!
