🇨🇦 Team Canada
Pan American Taekwondo Championships G4

📍 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
📅 May 4–8, 2026

Representing Canada
Senior Poomsae & Pair Division

In the Individual Final, I faced of Brazil in an extremely close match and narrowly finished in 2nd place by only 0.033 points.

We also earned 2nd place in the Pair Division.

Honestly, it is very disappointing because both matches were winnable. If we had taken gold, Team Canada’s overall ranking could have been even higher.

I feel heartbroken not being able to bring home the gold medal. But despite that, everyone worked incredibly hard, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of our coaches, athletes, staff members, and supporters.

We will continue to improve and come back even stronger at the next World Championships.

Team Canada finished 3rd overall.
Everyone did an amazing job. 🇨🇦🥋🙏
