🎓 Calling All Thorhild Central School Graduates! 🎓

As you prepare for your next adventure, we have a special opportunity for you to leave a lasting legacy at TCS.

If you no longer need your TI 83 Plus graphing calculator from high school, or TI-30X IIS from junior high, please consider donating it back to the school. These calculators can make a huge difference for future students who may not have access to one when they need it for math and science courses.

Your donation will help ensure that all students have the tools they need to succeed, regardless of their circumstances.

Graphing calculators can be dropped off at the school office before the end of the school year. The office is open until June 24 at 4:00 pm and reopen August 24th.

Thank you for supporting the next generation of Thorhild Central School students. Your generosity will continue to make a difference long after graduation!

📣 Volunteers Needed – Thorhild Central School Pancake Breakfast! 🥞

School Council is looking for volunteers to help make our Pancake Breakfast on Friday, June 5 a success! We’re looking for helping hands for things like flipping pancakes, setup, helping serve, and cleanup.

Whether you can help for a short time or stay for a larger portion, every bit of support makes a difference and helps create a great experience for our school community.

Come out to Thorhild Central School tonight for supper and a fun family dance!

🍔 Pulled pork and hot dogs ready for 6:00 PM
🎸 High school bands will be debuting all their hard work starting at 6:30 PM
🎧 Followed by a dance DJ’d by the Vice Principal!

Aspen View and its schools are launching a new initiative this spring to help students prepare for and feel confident about upcoming Diploma Exams and Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs).

During May and June, schools will reallocate instructional time within the school day to provide five hours of structured exam preparation for each Diploma and PAT course. This time will be delivered across a series of sessions.

Formats will vary slightly from school to school, but all exam preparation sessions will:

- Be highly structured
- Be teacher-led
- Include both direct instruction and review of learning
- Use previous exam questions to help students become familiar with the format and expectations of provincial exams

Our School Council and TEAMS - Fundraising Society for TCS are getting ready for an exciting Glow Party Family Dance, and we need your help to make it a glowing success! ✨

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with:
• Set-up and decorating
• Food service
• Face painting & activity stations
• Glow item sales
• Clean-up at the end of the night
