On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, Survivors, and their families.

At Kiddies, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and proud of who they are. We encourage families to take time to learn, listen, and reflect together. 🧡

Summer at Kiddies
The children have been making wonderful summer memories by enjoying the sunshine, exploring nature, gardening, cooling off with yummy slushies, and going on exciting community field trips to the RCMP and Fire Station. We are having so much fun learning, playing, and growing together, and we can't wait for all the exciting adventures still to come!

Update – Thompson RCMP respond to bomb threats, evacuate schools

Thompson RCMP have now cleared all schools involved in the threats, and no suspicious packages were located.

Mystery Lake School Division closed schools for the remainder of the day.

The incident continues to be investigated and no arrests have been made at this time.

======================

Thompson RCMP are responding to six schools within the city following a series of bomb threats that were called in.

Out of an abundance of caution, schools have been evacuated as officers work to clear each building.

Two schools have already been deemed safe. Please allow officers to complete their work and expect a heavy police presence.

Further updates to be posted here.
