We’re getting ready to welcome our students back to UCN for Orientation 2026 on September 3 & 4!
Whether you’re joining us for your first year or returning to continue your UCN journey, Orientation is a chance to connect, get settled, learn about your resources, and meet the people who are here to support you.
We’ve got two days packed with information, activities, community resources, and opportunities to get to know your UCN community.

UCN students can register for the Storytelling of the Land & Filmmaking workshop, a FREE 3-week program running from July 20 to August 7. Guided by professional producer and filmmaker Justina Neepin, you’ll learn how to plan, shoot (using cameras or your smartphone), and edit your own short film exploring connections to land, family, and community.
The workshop includes hands-on training , a daily lunch provided (July 20-24), working on your film project at your own time with online mentorship (July 27-August 6), and a final screening to show off your masterpiece to family and friends on August 7.
