✨A Celebration of Culture ✨🪶
Last Friday, our afternoon was filled with movement, creativity, and learning! The children enjoyed experiencing the beautiful Hoop Dance and Indigenous Fancy Shawl Dance, exploring colourful hoops, and using their imagination to create birds, butterflies, and other shapes.

Through dance and play, the children practiced teamwork, communication, coordination, creativity, and empathy while learning about Indigenous traditions.

The Caribou Room has been exploring their new classroom values: Empathy, Communication, and Respect. Together, the team is building a caring environment where empathy is practiced, communication is encouraged, and everyone is valued and respected.

Our Eagle Room preschoolers used their curious eyes to observe, explore, and notice the small wonders of nature. Through careful watching and thoughtful discoveries, they built connections with the world around them.

Seeds of Curiosity 🌱✨
Where little minds bloom and big discoveries begin! The children followed their curiosity through a day of outdoor exploration at the Boreal Discovery Centre—swinging into new skills, digging into the wonders of gardening, uncovering the secrets of nature, and growing their understanding through hands-on experiences. Every question, observation, and discovery planted another seed of learning, imagination, and connection with the world around them.

Come celebrate culture, tradition, and community with us!

What happens when you give children a forest? Sticks become radios, songs become concerts, campfires become s'more feasts, and every trail leads to a new adventure. From wildlife encounters and active games to scavenger hunts and imaginative play, our Preschoolers discovered that the Boreal is the perfect place to learn, create, and explore together. 🌲✨

A day of curiosity, discovery, and community connections! Our preschoolers had the opportunity to visit the Thompson RCMP Detachment, explore the station, ask thoughtful questions, and learn more about the important role police officers play in our community. A big thank you to Constable Rob Cleveland for welcoming us and making this experience so meaningful! 💙✨
