Learning goes beyond the classroom at UCN.
Our Law Enforcement students recently had the opportunity to meet Premier Wab Kinew on their annual Career Exploration trip to Southern Manitoba. During this trip, students gain firsthand insight into careers in policing, corrections, and public service. They also had the opportunity to meet Premier Wab Kinew.
Throughout the week, students visited police agencies and correctional centres in Winnipeg and Brandon, toured the Manitoba First Nations Police Service training facility in Portage la Prairie, attended Question Period at the Manitoba Legislature, and explored the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Experiences like these give students the opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world environments, build professional networks, and explore the many career paths available in law enforcement.
Interested in a career in law enforcement? At UCN, you'll gain practical experiences that help prepare you for the future.
