On June 23, it was our last day of the 2022/2023 school year here at Red-tailed Hawk. Our families came out for a super fun afternoon of swimming, catching up and eating lots of yummy foods together. We were so happy to be able to use the pool again for our end of year party like we have in the past. We are SO thankful for ALL of our forest school families and we cannot wait to see you next year and at our summer camps! Bring on summer of 2023!

Red-tailed Hawk Forest School’s fall registration is open! We are a registered Private School with the Ministry of Education and a certified Forest School. Are you wanting more of an organic schooling experience for your child? Is your family a lover of the outdoors? We are accepting children aged 4+ for our part-time and full-time programming. Our program is a fantastic way to supplement your child’s learning, whether that is public school, private school or homeschooling.

Did you know we also offer a full-time kindergarten program? If you are unsure about enrolling your child into the public school system, or just want to get back to the basics when it comes to school, chat with us! We offer a child-led and inquiry based outdoor curriculum. This means that most of our programming is based around what our students are interested in and that can be related to our outdoor surroundings. And even though our program is based mostly outdoors, we also have an indoor space (with a working bathroom!) for those days where we just might need a break from inclement weather.

We are always offering tours to chat about the program and for an opportunity to see where we learn and play. If you have any questions, or would like to schedule a tour, please reach out to Marlee at [email protected] and she will do her very best to answer all of your questions.
