This course is based on a new Red Cross curriculum that is more comprehensive than past courses. This offering has allowed for more time in the schedule due to these changes.

As Teslin slips into winter, the campus and the community and gearing up for a big season ahead! ❄️

From first aid training to office skills workshops, learning has been in full swing.

📢 We are recruiting students for a new 15-week Clerical Skills Program launching in January through the Community Retraining Opportunities for Workers (CROW) Program.

The campus is working with Sandy Washburn and others to launch this program.

💻 For the fourth consecutive winter semester, instructor/coordinator Gord Curran is teaching the Community and Economic Development course remotely to credit students in the Business Studies and First Nations Governance programs.

🥘 Gord was also invited to join the cross-organizational Local Food Action Plan Working Group to support food security and sovereignty on Teslin Tlingit Traditional Territory.

🎄 This week, the campus hosted its annual Christmas Open House with chilli and seasonal goodies.

It should be a busy winter semester!
