Over 230 students took part in the 2026 Kitimat Maker Day Career Event, exploring hands-on career opportunities and connecting with industry professionals.
Students experienced a wide variety of careers including instrumentation, piping, sheet metal, carpentry, plumbing, nursing, baking, and fly tying.
A great day of learning and inspiration, attended by CMSD 82 Superintendent Tracey MacMillan, Trustee Ed Harrison of Terrace, and Angela Maitland of Kitimat. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!

Marine Careers Expo 2026 kicks off on Sunday, June 14!
Join us at the Cow Bay Marina in Prince Rupert, BC from 11 to 3 p.m. for a day of ship tours, interactive activities, and conversations with marine employers and training organizations.
