Collaboration, reflection, awareness and connection 🧡 Ms. Cathy and the intermediates spent today creating attachment hearts with our students! The hearts support kinship, connection and relationships for Aboriginal children, youth, families and communities. The hearts represent the relationship ties and connections that children and youth have with their caregivers: be it parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, foster, adoptive homes and other extended family members. The children were encouraged to give the hearts to someone they care about when they were finished, and keep the power or connection going! Such a great learning moment for everyone on this Orange Shirt Day!
