Over the weekend, our community came together to celebrate the life of Bailey Dunphy.

As we continue to navigate this loss together, it is important to remember that grief does not look the same for everyone. It can be loud and overwhelming, or quiet and unexpected. It can show up as sadness, anger, confusion, exhaustion, difficulty concentrating, changes in appetite or sleep, or simply feeling “off” without knowing why. For some, those feelings come immediately. For others, they may not surface for days, weeks, or even months.

Grief has a way of sneaking up on us when we least expect it.

As a school community, we want you to know that whatever you are feeling is okay. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there is no timeline for healing.

Please lean on those who love and support you. Reach out to a friend, a family member, a teacher, a coach, a counsellor, or another trusted adult. Check in on one another. Sometimes a simple conversation or a reminder that someone cares can make all the difference.

Most importantly, if you need help, ask for it. You do not have to carry this alone.

Our thoughts remain with Bailey’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives were touched by him. ❤️

The Great TATA Scavenger Hunt
Yesterday, our Grade 7 & 8 classes joined forces and headed out on the Great TATA Scavenger Hunt! Students split into teams and raced around Tatamagouche completing challenges, solving tasks, and capturing photos of their adventures along the way…. The catch? No cell phones allowed during school hours!
Armed with “old school” digital cameras and plenty of enthusiasm, they headed out into the drizzly weather, which stayed with them all day. Thankfully, the rain couldn’t dampen their spirits! As you can see from the photos, our students had an incredible time.
A huge thank you to Ms. Wall and Ms. Campbell for organizing such a fun experience and to the many local businesses and community members who welcomed our students, hosted activities, and embraced the excitement of the day.
This event truly showcased the strength of our community. Thank you for opening your doors, supporting our students, and helping create lasting memories. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Great work, students!! You represented TRA so well and did an amazing job! 💚💙

🏆 We recently celebrated our athletes and the many accomplishments of our teams this year. From programs making their return after years away to defending provincial champions pursuing a fourth consecutive title, our athletes gave us plenty to be proud of.

A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, parents, and community volunteers whose time, dedication, and support make school sports possible. Your commitment creates opportunities for our students to grow, compete, and build lasting memories.

To our athletes, thank you for your hard work, perseverance, sportsmanship, and the Mustang Pride you showed every time you represented our school.

A special thank you to Athletic Director Brandon Verge for the countless hours of work behind the scenes that help make our athletic programs a success. We are also grateful for our multi-sport athletes and the families who support our teams season after season.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in another incredible year of Mustang athletics. We can’t wait to see what next season brings!
