Re-post for some students in class today. This video shows what head-tilt-chin lift actually does. Take note of the tongue being stretched to a point where it does not block the airway (trachea)!

For the time being.....
YOUR safety is our primary concern. To keep us all safe in this uncertain time, we will practice physical distancing and have cleaned and sterilized equipment at our disposal. Your instructor will wear a mask, as well as provide clean masks for anyone who wishes to wear one for the course. Each piece of equipment will be pre-cleaned and yours to use for the day. Alcohol based hand sanitizer will also be provided for individual use at any time throughout the day.

With the warmer temperatures upon us. We are reminding everyone about safety around the lake. The ice may appear thick, but the ice is no longer suitable for recreational use.

We would also like to remind everyone to keep a close eye on children and pets when visiting trails and parks while keeping physical distancing.

What to do if you witness an accident
- Stay back and call for help. If near a phone, call 9-1-1 and ask for the fire department.
- Talk the person out of the ice by encouraging the victim to kick and pull. If the person gets back on the ice, tell him or her to roll towards the shore.
