What an outstanding evening at the Sylvan Lake Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence! It was an honour to serve as emcee and to celebrate the businesses and people who make Sylvan Lake such a strong, creative, and community‑minded place. I have been away from posting and public life for a while as I recover from ACDF surgery, so it meant a lot to be able to come out for a few hours and join everyone in recognizing the incredible work happening in our community.

Congratulations to all nominees and to each of this year’s award recipients. Your dedication, innovation, and commitment continue to strengthen Sylvan Lake.

⭐️Wow! What a great night we had at the Sylvan Lake Chamber Business Awards.
We are still in shock and absolutely honoured to be recognized as this years Large Business of the Year. ⭐️

⭐️We received our first Chamber of Commerce Award for Small Business of the Year in 2016 and it is so incredible to be recognized for our growth 10 years later. ⭐️

We were so very fortunate to have Clare Butterfly and his beautiful family visit us a CAP last Friday. They demonstrated some of their traditional dances and we got to join in for the Intertribal! These experiences are so special and the children love them!

🎵Exciting week this week as we began our Creative Arts classes at CAP!

🎵Ms Megan & Ms Hope taught some super fun music classes🎵

🧘‍♀️And! We were super fortunate to welcome Ms Jamie with Little Lights Yoga to instruct some yoga and mindfulness sessions. This week we got to learn about the 7 Sacred Teachings. And we will welcome her back next week to do a dot painting class around the same theme! 🧘‍♀️
