Some of the Fox Run Eco Club’s raised gardens are ready to harvest! More lettuce should be ready next week, green onions should be ready next week and strawberries are available almost every day. Please help yourself!! 🥕🥬🍓☀️

And just like that, another incredible school year comes to a close! We want to wish all of our amazing Fox Run students, families, and staff a safe, relaxing, summer vacation. You’ve all worked so hard, and now it’s time to enjoy the sunshine! 😎🤞

Please note that our school office is now officially closed for the summer break.

To help you plan ahead for the fall, here are the key dates you need to know for the 2026-2027 school year:

August 24: School Office Re-opens! 👋 (Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for new registrations and general inquiries).

August 26: Teachers & EAs return for startup days.

August 28: Meet the Teacher! 🏫 Drop in between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to see the classrooms, say hello, and ease those back to school jitters.

August 31: First Day of Classes! 🎉 We can’t wait to welcome all of our students back for a new school year.

Kade is a grade eight student and he is a great reflection of Brookie’s kind nature, inclusive approach to everyone, and an obvious love of sports! Congratulations Kade! 💜🦋

Celebrating Sonia Martinek as she heads into Retirement! 🥰

After many years of unwavering devotion to our division, the incredible Sonia Martinek is retiring at the end of this school year. Since 2013, Sonia has been a pillar of the Fox Run School community, dedicating her heart, energy, and passion to making our school a better place for students and staff alike.

Sonia is someone who makes a difference in every single way. If you’ve felt the vibrant energy in our halls this year, you’ve felt Sonia’s impact. She was a driving force behind our Renaissance Program, pouring her heart into organizing our Achievers Assemblies, bringing the hype to our Spirit Rallies, and meticulously planning a memorable Grade 8 Farewell. Her ability to celebrate others is unmatched, and she has left an indelible mark on Fox Run’s culture.

Sonia, thank you for your years of dedication, your endless enthusiasm, and for always going above and beyond. We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and a very well deserved retirement.

Summer Days aren’t far away 💭🩷

The Grade 7s took a fun walk down to The Big Moo these past two days! There’s nothing better than fresh air, great friends, and a little ice cream to celebrate a great year. 🍦🐮
