My name is Malinda and I love to teach piano. If a child can count to 10 and knows the alphabet A-G then they are old enough to learn to read music and play the piano. Adults are also welcome to learn. I am a visual learner myself so I incorporate a lot of poster projects into my teaching style. I want students to firstly have fun and secondly to learn the piano. From zero piano knowledge to being able to read real music (not numbers) takes on the average 1 month.
I am able to teach full Royal Conservatory and your children can take the exams through these lessons or no exams if just wanting your children to learn piano and have fun. I have my Grade 8 with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and took pipe organ for many years. Piano and pipe organ were both studied in college settings.
Have experience with Special Needs Children.
