The Cape Breton Naturalists Society is holding the annual general meeting on February 10th at 6pm at the Wilfred Oram Centennial Library (309 Commercial St, North Sydney).

The current executive will give a brief recap of the Naturalists activities from the previous year and discuss our plans for the coming year. We will then call for nominations and vote for the new executive.

Following the meeting, they will have a special presentation entitled: “A Day in the Life - The Magic Around us from a Naturalists Point of View” by Bethsheila Kent.

We hope to see you there!

Students from the Biology Society volunteered at the Hike the Coxheath Colours & Ceilidh this past weekend!

Hikers learned to identify local coniferous trees and used the microscopes to observe local insects🐜🐝🌲🌳
