A letter to our CADS friends and families:
Whenever we discussed CADS as an organization, Brian always pointed out that CADS could have been anything from a drama school to a football team. That putting on the plays didn’t matter as much as the people. The important thing was the students (and teachers) coming together to work on a project. Sometimes it was a mess. Sometimes it was beautiful. It was always fun. That’s what CADS was.
Unfortunately, due to the current state we find ourselves in with COVID-19 we are shutting down CADS for the foreseeable future. We will not be offering classes in the fall this year. For those that were looking forward to returning, we apologize. We were looking forward to it too.
That said: we might not be doing CADS anymore, but we are still the CADS family. Reach out to us. Contact us. If you have ideas, share them. When we have ideas, we’ll share them with you. If you ever need any of us, for anything, as always, we are here for you.
And carry what CADS was with you. Find your people. Support those around you. Seek out what you enjoy—what you are passionate about—and go for it! Be CADS in the world.
Remember: we are always here for you and you can reach out to us whenever you need to.
Your friends,
Brian, James, Erin, Holly, and Maggie
