Cape Breton University-Study Options in Human Nutrition

Please note that there is no credential (diploma or certificate of completion) given by Cape Breton University or any other Canadian university after 2 years of undergraduate study in nutrition.

Nutrition is an in demand field and with the right training there are well-paying, permanent, full time jobs available.

All nutrition courses at CBU are in person only as of September 2021. CBU Nutrition courses can be used:
a) as an elective
b) to obtain a minor in Nutrition
c) as part of the Nutrition transfer option
d) as part of a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies with a major in Sports and Physical Activity Leadership and a minor in Nutrition/Health or…
e) as part of the Bioethics and Health Certificate
f) as teachables for your B.Ed. at CBU
