This weekend, CBU will be celebrating and honouring CAPERS soccer legend, Ally Rowe!

Cape Breton University Athletics will recognize Ally Rowe at the Ness Timmons Field on Friday, October 2.

The #12 jersey of Rowe will officially be retired in recognition of her extraordinary career with the CAPERS women's soccer program. During her five seasons at CBU, Ally rewrote the record books, became one of the most decorated soccer players in AUS and U SPORTS history and earned Academic All-Canadian honours each year of her studies.

If you are in the area, Ally will be recognized on the field at approximately 4:40 p.m. ahead of the 5:00 p.m. women's soccer game and everyone is welcome! She'll also be signing autographs for young fans at halftime.

Following the game, everyone is welcome to a reception in the CBU High-Performance Centre to celebrate Ally's remarkable CAPERS legacy with teammates, alumni, friends and the community.
