Mad scientist vibes in Grade 6 Science! 🥽⚡️🧪

Our Grade 6 students traded in standard textbooks for safety goggles as they played "mad scientist" during class. From testing theories to observing chemical reactions, hands-on experiments like these help make learning stick. We can’t wait to see where their curiosity takes them!

What an awesome week at Munro Academy! 🍂📚 Our students have been hard at work learning, growing, and making wonderful memories together. We’re so thankful for the joy, curiosity, and energy they bring to each day!
And we couldn’t resist sharing a few more photos from our fun trip to Hanks Farm last week! 🐄🌾 We’re grateful for opportunities like these where our students can learn, explore, and enjoy time together outside the classroom.
As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, we are especially thankful for our students, families, teachers, and the opportunity to help our children learn and grow in Christ. ❤️
Wishing all of our Munro families and friends a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving weekend! 🦃🍁

“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 🙏✨

Our hearts are so full after yesterday’s local Leadership Prayer Breakfast! From watching our students serve with such joy to hearing powerful testimony from the guest speakers, one thing was unmistakably clear: God is actively at work in our community.

He is moving in our schools, our homes, and our neighborhoods. Let’s keep praying, keep trusting, and keep watching Him do what only He can do! 🙌❤️🇨🇦

What an amazing week at Munro Academy! 🧡🍂
This week was filled with meaningful moments, joyful memories, and so many opportunities to learn and grow together.
On Monday, our students wore orange for Orange Shirt Day as we took time to reflect on truth and reconciliation. We also laced up for our Terry Fox Run and proudly raised $250 through Rice Krispie sales and toonies for Terry! 🏃‍♀️🧡
We also celebrated kindness with our very first Gotcha Bear recipient! 🐻✨ Congratulations to Ariah from Grade Primary! Her kindness and thoughtfulness are such a beautiful example of caring for others.
To finish the week, we enjoyed a wonderful day at Hank’s Farm! 🌽🍁 From exploring the corn maze to playing at the park, our students had so much fun making memories together and picking out their pumpkins.
We are so thankful for our students, families, and teachers, and for the opportunity to help our children learn, grow, and reflect Christ’s love through the way they care for others. ❤️
What a week to remember! 🍂

Unforgettable times at Cape Breton Bible Camp!🏕✨

From the moment the bus pulled up (so thankful for bus service being restored just in time!), the energy was through the roof. Together, we explored what it means to follow Jesus as our Good Shepherd, shared lunch, played games, and hiked out to a gorgeous waterfall (a few brave souls even came back a little extra wet!).

Watching these kids build community and worship together—even jamming out on the bus ride home—was such a blessing. Swipe to the end to hear them sing! 🚌❤️

🥈 Silver Medal Season Opener! 🏐🔥

Huge congratulations to our Munro HS Girls Volleyball team and Coach Bartlett on bringing home silver at their very first tournament of the season!

They fought hard right to the wire in an absolute nail-biter, taking RHS JV1 to three sets and finishing 13–15 in the decider.

Beyond the medals, we are so proud of the grit, teamwork, and character these girls showed both on and off the court. Outstanding effort, team!

Go, Bears! 🐻👏

What a wonderful week at Munro Academy! 💙 Today was especially meaningful as we gathered together for our first assembly of the school year! 🎉
Mrs. Mackley led us in music, filling our gathering with joyful voices, and we were blessed to welcome Dr. Mueller, ACSI Eastern Canada Director, who shared an encouraging message with our students.
We also talked about Gotcha Bears! 🧸✨ This special recognition gives us an opportunity to celebrate students who demonstrate kindness, compassion, and care for others.
