Last semester we had some high school students trying out the Glo Germ Kit. This device utilizes UV-sensitive lotion and a UV lamp, to show where germs may hide before and after washing your hands.
Hand hygiene is very important in preventing the spread of illness! 🦠

📣Join us for a Registration Support Mixer! 🍊
On April 20, our Academic Advisors are hosting registration support sessions and a fun social event in the Advising Centre. This event will give incoming students the chance to visit campus, meet future classmates and receive registration support. There will also be CBU-themed Kahoots games with prizes!

Yesterday afternoon, some of our Public Health students had the opportunity to discuss the importance of public health and our role in keeping the public safe with Minister LeBlanc, MP Battiste, and MP Kelloway. Such a great experience!

Did you know that there are three streams for this program?
STREAM 1 – four-year option that a student graduating from high school, or someone without post-secondary experience could take.
STREAM 2 – accelerated two-year option for students with a previous science degree or a similar degree/diploma from an accredited university or college.
STREAM 3 – in-career option available only to military workers seeking a degree. These military workers must be certified by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors.
All graduates will receive the same degree – a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc). For more information on the program structure, visit https://www.cbu.ca/bhsc-program-structure/
