Greg MacLeod House

Rev. Alison Etter was a beautiful soul, a wise and generous leader, and founding co-chair of the Father Greg MacLeod House (Newman Society). We are shocked and deeply saddened by her recent death at age 41. This is a huge loss for Cape Breton and for inter-faith leadership. We extend our deepest condolences, and we promise to carry forth the love and determination and sense of justice that Alison exuded. This is Alison's obituary:

I love to explore new things and adventurous too... I am passionate about dancing and cooking. My inspiration is my parents and I am here because of them only... I too have a good friend circle who help in all situations."

"I was born in Kerala, India. Currently I am doing my bachelor degree in environmental studies at Cape Breton University. I completed my B Tech in Civil Engineering from MGM college of Engineering and Technology under APJ Abdul Kalam University Kerala, India. A little bit about me: I am a very talkative person who always loves to make friends. I am a traveller, a dancer, I love to do photography, and I am always trying to turn my dreams to vision and my vision to reality."

Greg MacLeod residence for study, prayer and ecumenical fellowship honours Cape Breton priest | Saltwire SYDNEY — Father Greg MacLeod's vision for community expanded beyond economic development. The Sydney Mines native, who died in 2017 at age 81, was also passionate about creating community between Christian faiths.
