* I am located in Sydney Mines and I am regulated through the Family Place Resource Centre. This means…
* Subsidy is available for those who qualify;
* The Canada-wide childcare discount applies to all families, currently at $8.25 off per day and eventually reaching $16.50/day child care;
* Educational programming that fosters healthy development;
* A minimum of 60 minutes outside each day to encourage gross motor development and natural learning;
* Monthly play groups and inspections from the Agency to ensure regulations are being met
* A fully qualified care provider with completed First Aid, clear background checks, Food Safety and completion of the Home Child Care training module;
* A healthy menu following the Ministerial Requirements for nutrition; and
* A safe and secure environment including fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, an escape plan, monthly fire drills, and safety locks (cupboard locks, baby gates, outlet covers)
