Over the Rainbow Childcare

It is with a heavy yet optimistic heart that I am announcing this.

Over the Rainbow dayhome is closing for longer than anticipated. Due to my own family's needs I cannot offer the quality of care I would like to offer to families of my community. With that being said I have decided to get back into the field outside of my home, I accepted a job at an after school program 🩷

I am very happy about my decision. We never know what the future may hold for us, I may eventually open my dayhome back up, but for now I need to do what works best for my family and myself.

Thank you all for the love and support over the last year and a half. I'm truly grateful.

Hey! I just wanted to pop on here and give a little notice that I will be temporarily closing in the next month or so;

As many of you may know I'm currently expecting my 3rd baby in July.

I've been getting messages about spots being available, etc and just wanted to make this post for anyone inquiring about this that I may not get back to right away!

You can always reach out to family place resource center to get added to our wailists for all approved family dayhomes in the area!

• Why is scribbling so important?

Scribbling helps children build hand eye coordination that later helps with writing and drawing skills. It also helps develop fine motor skills needed for drawing, writing and other related skills. Also, children who are still developing verbal communication skills will have a form of non verbal communication through the expression of scribbling, it allows them to convey emotions, ideas, experiences. Scribbling is a vital part of development for children ❤️🖍
