🧺 All Saints Family “Picnic” Lunch! 🧺

Families are invited to bring a lunch and join their children for a fun picnic-style lunch in the gym! It’s a great opportunity to spend some time together at school and enjoy lunch as a family. 💙🧡

📅 Last Names L–Z: Thursday, October 8

⏰11:30–12:15 PM

A few notes about the dates:

🔹 Kindergarten students may attend on their regular school day, and their siblings are welcome to join them, even if it is not their last name’s designated day.

🔹If one of the two days works better for your family, please feel free to come on whichever day works best!

We’re looking forward to sharing lunch, laughter, and time together with our All Saints families!

Tomorrow, September 29, we wear orange to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

Wednesday, September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be no school as we take time to reflect, learn, and remember.

On Friday, September 25, our All Saints Catholic School community will participate in our annual Terry Fox Walk. ❤️

More than 45 years ago, Terry Fox set out with an incredible dream and showed Canadians what courage, determination, hope, and perseverance can accomplish. His Marathon of Hope may have started with one person, but his legacy continues through every student, family, and community that chooses to carry it forward.

This Friday, our Guardians will walk for Terry. We will walk for the people we love, for those we remember, for those who are still fighting, and for the hope that one day cancer will be a thing of the past.

Pledge forms were sent home last week and we ask that they be returned by Friday. You are able to fundraise online, too! Check out the QR code on your paper pledge form!

📣 SCC Meeting 📣

A new school year means our monthly School Community Council meetings are starting up again!

Our first meeting will be held Tuesday, September 15 in the ASCS Library. Our SCC typically meets 8–10 times throughout the school year, with meetings lasting about 60–90 minutes.

To our returning SCC members, thank you for continuing to give your time, ideas, and support to our school community. Your involvement is truly appreciated and makes a difference.

We would also love to welcome some new faces this year! If you’re interested in learning more about what’s happening at ASCS and finding ways to support our school community, please join us.
