National Volunteer Week 2026 runs from April 19–25, 2026, celebrating the vital contributions of volunteers across Canada.

HCCC would like to publicly acknowledge our volunteer Board of Directors.

In search of the below donations for Heyes Child Care Centre:

- misc art/craft supplies (pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, tissue paper, pom poms, beads, straws, string/yarn, buttons, sequins, tape, etc)
- rulers
- measuring cups/spoons
- sand/water toys
- puppets
- dress up clothes (age 5-12)
- play kits/tools (doctor, restaurant, etc)
- playmobil
- plants (live)
- globe
- magnets
- magnifying glasses
- digital/weighted scale
- play $
