Arden’s quilt is all pieced and ready for the long arm. Its’s just as big as she expected and sure is eye catching! All my rows for the Boo Crew Quilt are finished and now I’m working at putting them all together. Hopefully it will be all done by tomorrow 😉

✨IN THE MAKING MONDAY✨

Hey Quilters, it’s Arden. It’s my turn to share what I’ve been working on while at university. Two years ago at the Central Alberta Quilt Show I bought a fat quarter bundle of Kitty Corn by Urban Chiks. I held onto it for a few years unsure what to make out of it. Recently I came across the Charming Plaid Quilt by Ruby Star and decided it would make a very cute Halloween Quilt. To make this pattern you need a light and dark fabric along with the FQ’s, so from mom’s shop I got a few yards of Purrs and Boos by Elena Amo. I wanted to use up all the Kitty Corn fat quarters, so I did the math to make the quilt larger. It will finish at 85x85, which is the biggest quilt I have ever made. I’m excited to see how it turns out and I will update you all when the quilt top is finished! So far I have 7 of the 19 rows done.

Fall is in the air, school has started, and so has all the evening activities! Which is why this is the perfect time to share a new collection showcasing hockey. The colors are fun and highlights class motifs like hockey players, gear, and tonal patches.

🧵 Just arrived!

This collection came to be after Janet asked herself if data and math could be interesting and maybe even beautiful. After creating a Pinterest board she found herself inspired by infographics, data visualization artists and equations. Before long she did create something beautiful and so very interesting to look at.
