It's a beautiful day for our annual New Era Ag Research Plot Tour - thanks to everyone who came to see what we've been working on and listening to our speakers! And thank you to our speakers for joining us to share your knowledge with our local producers 🌱👩🏽‍🌾

January is a very slow time of year for us here at New Era Ag Research, but that just means we can organize everything for spring!

We are hiring for the 2024 growing season!

Our crops are coming up in the grow room, and we even have an albino barley plant!

🌱 usually we don't like seeing cleavers, but these little guys have started to pop up in our grow room as we prepare a ✨️ NEW TRIAL! ✨️
🧪 we're looking forward to comparing a variety of glufosinate products on LL234PC canola, as well as volunteer crops and a few common weeds for the Swan River Valley 🚜
✳️ this summer we will be conducting a similar trial at our small plot research farm, so FOLLOW New Era Ag Research for any possible updates 📢

This winter we had the pleasure of working with petunias and gerberas in our grow room, and it definitely made the dreary months go by quicker! 🌼

We've grown 20+ types of plants in the grow room so far, from canola to basil to petunias.
