👔 Father’s Day Fun! 👔

Today, the children learned about the different professions that fathers do and matched the appropriate clothes for each profession. They also explored colours and numbers by counting the buttons on T-shirts and arranging the shirts in ascending order. The children further developed their fine motor skills by hanging the shirts on a line using pegs.

To finish, they designed a special T-shirt for Daddy using pipettes and tissue paper, creating a unique keepsake filled with love

Today we kicked off our Father’s Day theme! The children explored ties by decorating them, identifying colours, and practicing counting skills. They also enjoyed using the zip and button frames, helping to build fine motor skills and independence. The highlight of the day was creating and wearing their own special ties! 👔✨

Today at daycare, the children learned about sharks as part of our Under the Sea theme. They enjoyed exploring facts about sharks and expressing their creativity through an ocean-inspired arts and crafts activity. Through these experiences, the children developed their fine motor skills, creativity, and curiosity about marine life.

Today we continued our "Under the Sea" theme by learning about jellyfish! 🪼

The children discovered some interesting facts about jellyfish, created their own jellyfish arts and crafts, and enjoyed a fun jellyfish experiment. It was a great day of hands-on learning, creativity, and ocean-themed fun! 🌊🐠

Our underwater adventure today
focused on the amazing octopus! The children enjoyed learning about octopuses through stories, art, sensory play, and hands-on activities. We explored how octopuses move, where they live, and what makes them such unique sea creatures.

🌊 Under the Sea – Starfish ⭐

Today, the children learned about starfish as part of our Under the Sea theme. They created starfish art using coloured rice, practiced lacing skills, caught fish using rods, and rescued sea animals from ice. These activities supported fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and problem-solving skills while exploring ocean life. 🐠✨

Today, our Under the Sea theme continued as the children learned about turtles and explored some fun facts about them. They enjoyed sensory play with water and sea animals, encouraging exploration and imaginative play. The children also took part in a group activity where they worked together, shared ideas, and had lots of fun learning with their friends. Another wonderful day of ocean adventures!
