Why are dice games good for preschool age children?
Dice games provide an engaging, interactive way for young children to develop essential skills across various learning areas. From counting and language skills to motor and social abilities.
Benefit of this activity is a great way for children to learn how to categorise objects, recognise colours, shapes and sizes, and support language development. An important cognitive skill, sorting helps a child notice similarities and differences in objects.
Sorting & Matching skills help children make sense of their world.
Through hands-on play, children practise comparing objects, noticing details, organising information and learning basic concepts that support early childhood education.

Sensory, Squeeze, Splash and measuring station in an outdoor environment perfectly blends fine motor development with early STEM exploration. By manipulating sponges and lemon squeezers, children build the hand strength essential for future writing while simultaneously investigating the mechanics of volume and measurement. Itβs a multi-sensory way to turn simple water play into a meaningful lesson.

A Special Visit from L
We were delighted to welcome back our former student, L, for a visit today. The children were deeply engaged as L facilitated a series of open-ended experiences, including a rich dramatic play scenario and a STEM activity utilizing loose parts.
L demonstrated excellent leadership and inclusivity, ensuring every child felt invited into the play. By collaborating with her peers to plan and execute their ideas, she fostered a collective creative process. These interactions provided meaningful
opportunities for growth in social-emotional development, language skills, and critical thinking.
