Muallimah Siddika is the teacher of the girls and has studied Islam in Muslim schools of South Africa. The staff have more than 20 years of teaching experience between them. The students are taught to read the Qur'an with proper recitation and with Tajweed, memorization of Soorahs from the Qur'an, the life of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, Tahaarah and many other Islamic subjects. The students are also taught how to deliver speeches and how to lead the five daily Salah and Taraweeh Salah. Molana Oves and Molana Anees also specialize in teaching and training students to memorize the entire Qur'an. With the blessings of Allah a Hafidh-ul-Qur'an graduated from the Madrasah last year. There are many students of the Madrasah who have memorized 5, 10, 15 and even 20 parts of the Qur'an and insha'Allah, soon many students will complete the memorization of the Qur'an and be a source of blessings for the community. After completing memorization of the Qur'an the students are awarded a, "Certificate of Completion". With the help of Allah, guidance of their dear father, Qari Abdul Wahab, and the Duas of the community the Madrasah progressed, the students learned much Islamic knowledge and the numbers of students were increasing and a larger premises was required to carry on the humble effort of the Madrasah staff. In March of 2013, Darul Qur'an Institute of Islamic Studies relocated to their new premises located @ #24 and #25 8528, 123 street in Surrey. Molana Oves and Molana Anees spent 2 years to find the new premises. After viewing many locations this premises was selected based on safety of children, suitable location, suitable for purpose, close proximity to homes of students and other important criteria. Before moving to this new location the Madrasah was managed from a basement for several years. It was help from Allah and the Duas of the parents and community that helped the Madrasah progress to a new stage and to begin a new chapter in the life of the Madrasah. After moving to the new location Molana Oves and Molana Anees did a thorough renovation and renovated the entire premises by painting the rooms, new flooring throughout, new furniture, a new washroom and much more. The end result is a facility that is safe, neat, clean and modern looking. After the renovations the facility has become worthy of being a place to learn the Deen of Islam from.
