Morgan Creek Montessori The first AMI Recognized School in Surrey, BC. 🇨🇦 We offer a quality and authentic Montessori education program for children aged 2.5 - 6 years.

Established in 2006. Our teachers are ECE (Early Childhood Education) certified and have been trained in the Montessori philosophy through the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) program. AMI was started in 1929 by Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori philosophy. The training today closely follows the original work of Maria Montessori, started over 100 years ago. At Morgan Creek Montessori, we pride ourselves with our high level of training and dedication to the Montessori philosophy. We look forward to working with many children and their families in the South Surrey area. By offering a calm, inviting environment that is designed to meet the needs of each child, children can follow their intrinsic motivation to learn at their own pace. Children are introduced to the Montessori materials of practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, and cultural extensions. Their discoveries bring great joy, setting a strong foundation for a love of life-long learning. Children attend either the morning class (Monday-Friday 8:30-11:30AM) or the afternoon class (Monday-Thursday 12:30-3:30PM). Classes can have up to 19 children with one guide (teacher) and one assistant.

Our Nienhuis Montessori Bells in the Sensorial Area has two sets of 13 bells from Middle C to High C (Do to Do of the chromatic scale) mounted on wooden stands. One set are on varnished stands which are called the “working bells.” The other set are the “control bells” on the white stands (tones) and on the black stands are the semitones. The direct purpose of this material is introduction to music education.
