Established in 2006. Our teachers are ECE (Early Childhood Education) certified and have been trained in the Montessori philosophy through the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) program. Our Nienhuis Montessori Bells in the Sensorial Area has two sets of 13 bells from Middle C to High C (Do to Do of the chromatic scale) mounted on wooden stands. One set are on varnished stands which are called the “working bells.” The other set are the “control bells” on the white stands (tones) and on the black stands are the semitones. The direct purpose of this material is introduction to music education.
