Thank you to all who donated toys for SFU Surrey’s initiative in recognition and honour of the 215 victims of the former Kamloops Indian residential school. All chairs have been filled and we appreciate everyone’s participation.

A big thank you to all who also attended the livestream yesterday that was organized by SFU Surrey.

May we continue to recognize and support all those around us.

In recognition and in honour of the 215 victims of the former Kamloops Indian residential school, Surrey campus's Facilities team has filled the campus mezzanine with 215 empty chairs.

Between now and Monday, you are welcome to bring a new small toy or shoes to place on a chair. These will then be collected and donated to an organization that supports Indigenous youth and children.

On Monday there will also be a drumming circle at 11:00 am lead by Ron Johnston and Gary George from the OAP, featuring Kevin Kelly and Michael Kelly- Gabriel from Kwantlen First Nation. While the circle is limited to 20 people, the event will be live streamed - details to follow.

Calling all FASS One Students! To give you more insight on FASS One and everything we have to offer, we are hosting two information sessions next week, one on Tuesday May 25, 2021 and the other on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 5-6pm on both days.

It is free to attend and we highly encourage you to join us, as it is a great opportunity to connect with other students and kick off your first year journey!

An email has been sent out with a websurvey link to register for an info session. Once you have completed the form, a zoom link and password for the session you have chosen will be sent to the email that you have provided upon registration.

We hope to see you all there!

We can’t visit any SFU campus in-person, but we can virtually!

SFU is offering LIVE Virtual Campus tours for all guests, including new and prospective students. The tours will cover SFU’s three campuses - Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver. They are also hosted by current SFU students that are more than happy to share their student experiences with you.

Hey FASS One students! Now that you’re enrolled in courses, the next thing you may be thinking about is paying your tuition.

Hello new FASS One students,

Enrolment is approaching soon and we want to make sure you’re well-informed before you enroll into classes for the fall term!

All FASS One students must attend a mandatory course planning session before they can enroll into courses. Sessions will take place from June 22 - July 3, 2020. If you have not yet registered, please check your emails to do so.

Our course planning sessions will take place through Zoom - make sure you have a Zoom account before attending!
