Looking for an amazing summer school tutor? Reading, writing, and math are the most important parts of education in schools. You must learn to use your education in daily life. Your most important task is to take advantage of the education offered in school. How much you learn depends on how well you use your time. There are several ways to get the most out of your classes. First, be there! Do not skip a class except for illness or other real emergencies. Second, take car of yourself. It is essential to have a good breakfast and lunch because you cannot think well when your body keeps reminding you that it needs food. You also need 8-10 hours of sleep each night in order to rest. Third, concentrate! Be attentive, keep your mind from wondering. Do not think about anything else except what is being taught. Here are some suggestions: Note the most important ideas and speaker's arguments for them. Think about your personal experiences that might relate to theses. Note the important details of the topic. Use the TQLR formula for good listening: Tune in. Question. Listen for the main points. Review these points. At Amazing Tutors, we can help your children finish the school year with better grades. We will give your children the support they need to succeed in homework help and final examination. Call, text, email, or What's App us at 604.765.4099 to speak to one of our educational consultants about helping your child achieve his or her goals.

Looking for a tutor? Several kinds of classroom arrangements are used in schools. The most common is the lecture class, in which the teacher presents a topic, explaining the important ideas that you must learn. Questions by both the teacher and students follow. These help in the exchange of information. Another kind of class is the seminar. Here, the teacher does not lecture, but acts as the discussion leader. Ideas are exchanged and discussed informally. Everybody, including the teacher, sits in a circle, so the students feel more at ease. Each person gives his or her own ideas and asks questions. This type of open discussion leads to a better understanding of the topic. In addition, there are several types of study groups. Some are class-sized, and some are comprised of 6-8 students. Sometimes, 2-3 students work together as a team. Study alone is often done in a study carrel. Here, you can view videos or audios or podcasts, and take notes. Most information still comes from textbooks, handouts, and other printed materials. At Amazing Tutors, our proprietary curriculum covers the five key areas: History, Language, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The curriculum-based components ensure that your child understands the concepts and masters the necessary skills. We help students solve problems with confidence and enthusiasm. Looking for an amazing tutor? A senior high school is a much larger one than the ones previously attended. After finishing it, some students stop school, and others go on to college or university. When choosing courses, students should bear in mind what they intend to do next. Schools offer vocational education for those who will soon be looking for jobs. They also offer courses which help students get ready for college. Senior high school students move from class to class to study different subjects with different teachers. Courses are either required or elective; it is the electives that students must choose carefully. The school day is divided into periods. Some schools have special activity periods for gatherings such as meetings or athletic events, such as pep rallies. Sports teams can be intramural or inter-school, for boys and for girls. Special assemblies are also part of the high school program. These can be to hear a speaker, a program of music, or to see a play. Amazing Tutors is prepared to help your student improve their grades, test scores, and confidence. Contact us today to learn how we can provide personalized tutoring sessions for your student.

Looking for an amazing tutor? Students in junior high school are supposed to be more mature than elementary school students. Here, they start to make choices of the subjects they will study. For example, some may choose art vs. music, some may choose foreign language classes, and some may choose algebra. Each teacher teaches his/her best subject, and students study under different teachers. The junior high school student learns to work in a schedule and assumes more responsibility for his/her school work. Some school schedule activities at the end of the day, for example photography, dramatics, the school newspaper, or selected games. There are also athletic teams, which may be intramural or interscholastic. Junior high school students are usually given much more homework than are elementary students, so this is the time to develop proper homework habits. Homework is a big important thing, because you re on your own. At Amazing Tutors, we help your children get better grades. Looking for an amazing tutor? Are you worried about your work in school? Do you have trouble concentrating on your classwork? Do you have trouble remembering what you learned in class? Do you find yourself falling behind in your assignments? Do you find yourself wasting time? If any of these are true, then you need to know what follows. In elementary schools, many schools have "self-contained classrooms." Much of the school year is spent by 25-35 in one classroom with one teacher. Some students learn more slowly than others. Turn to your teacher when you have a question or a problem. Listening is important because much can be learned by listening to what the teacher and other student say. Sometimes the class is divided into groups of 4,6,or 8 students who work together on a project. Each student has a specific task, but they help each other. Other learning activities are individualized, and the teacher acts as a guide. These activities get you to use initiative, show responsibility, and increase your sense of accomplishment. Looking for an amazing tutor? Today we present valuable study tips. Being a student is your JOB, and one does not become good at any job overnight. Have a study room with good lighting and have a daily and weekly study schedule. Study alone, and have a dictionary handy. No sound equipment or cell phone is allowed in the room. Use your notebook almost full-time in class and at home (no scraps of paper), and use your textbooks and most of the time. Your notebooks must be well-organized, and include daily assignments. During study, list questions about points that you do not understand. First, review your class notes, then make more notes during study. Study your least favorite subject first, then in order down to your favorite one. Skim reading assignments before reading the whole thing. Work on memorization and use tricks that work for you. Memorization is important, so you must master this skill. Overlearning is desirable, and should be a goal. Overlearning means continuous repetition after initial mastery, designed to make recall automatic and to achieve long-term retention. Amazing Tutors provides personalized tutoring. We tutor in almost all subjects. Our Amazing Tutors encourage self-paced study, and they address students' individual learning challenges. Looking for an amazing tutor? Are you a good student? Good students feel positively about homework and manage their time well. Homework is not only necessary, it is essential for preparation for exams, for future studies, and for a job. Bring home all that you will need for studying. Second, make a time schedule for homework. Pay attention to how long it takes you to complete the homework for each course. Third, have a definite study area. It needs to be a quiet, private place, not too warm, with a table and straight chair, good lighting, and away from distractions, especially sound of any kind. Fourth, begin studying immediately, whether you feel like it or not. Start with your hardest subject, and keep at it until it becomes easy. Fifth, try hard to understand and remember what you read. Start by reviewing previous lessons. Take notes, one paragraph at a time, as you read. Review the notes, especially the parts that you do not understand or remember. Finally take notes all the time, especially in class--not on scraps of paper, but neatly in a notebook. At Amazing Tutors, we offer a wide variety of subjects. Our after-school tutoring brightens the path to success by providing children with the academic support and guidance they need to excel in school and beyond. Looking for a tutor? There is a close connection between career choice and school. You go to school to prepare for life, and career choice is perhaps the single most important decision that you can make. To choose wisely, you must understand yourself and you must know about available job opportunities. Many students know what job(s) they would like, but many are lost. Some think about it a lot, but some hardly think about it at all. Ask yourself the question: "What would I like to do?" Many students follow in the footsteps of their parents, aunts, uncles, or siblings. Understand job opportunities and evaluate them. How closely do they match your aptitude and abilities? Those who have career problems are usually those who waited too long before making a career decision. They did not begin career preparation in school. Planning will help you prepare for the kind of work for which you are best suited. Plan your educational program. Take advantage of advice given by guidance counsellors and departments of employment services. They provide job information, employment counselling, and referrals to job training programs. Amazing Tutors can help your children get better grades. We will give your children support they need to succeed in homework help, exam preparation, and writing projects. Looking for a tutor? How can you succeed in school? School is a type of testing ground. You test yourself on what you know and don't know, and what you like and don't like. Planning is needed, because so many courses are being offered. Success in school requires discipline and commitment. Being a student is your current job! As a student, you have many responsibilities. You must attend classes, do assignments and homework on time, study, prepare for exams, and obtain the highest grades that you can because anything less may not be good enough. This is especially true for work that you find uninteresting or that you do not like doing. Lack of general goals is one reason why some students do poorly in school. Think early on about what general fields you would like to work in. Plan what is best for you (not your friends). You should answer these questions to yourself: 1) Who am I? 2) What would I like to be doing 15 or 20 years from now? 3) What are my abilities? 4) What attitudes do I have? 5) How can I get where I want to go? We will explore these (and other questions) in future posts. At Amazing Tutors, our professionals help your children achieve their highest potential. We are ready to help your children with their homework, review, or to study and prepare for a test. Email, call, text, or What's App us at 1.604.765.4099 to speak to one of our educational consultants.

Looking for an amazing tutor? In Phonetic Segmentation, a word is broken down into its separate sounds. Make it fun by adding a story. If you tell "The Tortoise and the Hare," they can run fast like a hare or walk slowly like a tortoise. Then say words fast and slow. When talking slow, articulate each phoneme. Use a picture train with a beginning, middle, and end (engine, cars, caboose) to illustrate words such as cat, dog, pig, and red, where the three sounds are connected. Next, stretch words this way: for "run" say "rrrr-uuuu-nnnn." Use interlocking blocks to represent successive sounds in words. Put together and take part the individual phonemes in words. Then, children can learn that when a phoneme is removed, added, or substituted, a new word is created. Deleting the "g" in "grow" changes the word to "row," adding "s" to "pace" creates "space," and substituting "h" for "t" changes "hen" to "ten." Use this to play add-on and take-away. Taking "k" away from "monkey" makes the word "money," and adding "l" to "feet" makes it "fleet." Sing songs and change the phonemes in them. In "Old MacDonald," you can change "e-i-e-i-o" to "me-I-me-I-toe." Step into a world of learning excellence with Amazing Tutors Inc.! Call, text, or What's App us at 1.604.765.4099. Visit our website to explore comprehensive tutoring services that cater to every student's needs. Whether in-person or online, we are here to guide your child towards academic success.
