🚌 Important Shuttle Schedule Update for Jan 22-26, 2024 🚍

Attention KPU Community! Please note that, in light of the ongoing discussions between CUPE Local 4500 and Coast Mountain Bus Company, we have a special shuttle schedule planned for January 22nd to 26th, 2024. This will only be effective if an agreement isn’t reached by Sunday, January 21st.

What does this mean for you?
- We’re introducing an additional shuttle service between KPU Surrey and Richmond to ensure smooth transit for our students and staff.
- To support this, there will be a minor reduction in the frequency of shuttles between KPU Surrey, Langley, and Cloverdale.

KPU campuses will operate normally, with classes and work continuing as planned. It’s important to adjust your travel arrangements in response:

🅿️ Expect Full Parking: KPU parking lots may fill up quickly. Plan to arrive early and adhere to KPU’s parking guidelines.

🚗 Alternative Transport: Consider options like Modo, Evo, car2Go/ShareNow, or Mobi Bikes for your commute.

🚶‍♂️ Be Visible: Wear reflective gear if walking or cycling, especially in the dark.

🚙 Carpool with Discounts: KPU students and staff can use Poparide and Liftango at reduced rates. Download their apps or visit their websites, and register with your Kwantlen email (Students: .kpu.ca, Staff: .ca, .ca) to get discounts.
