Hey everyone!
Do you want to earn volunteer hours and get involved with an amazing documentary film festival that greats over 1500 guests? Well look no further!
KDocsFF 2020 is looking for volunteers for their annual film festival happening February 20th-23, 2020 at the Vancouver International Film Centre/Vancity Theatre.
Over 4 days, there will be award winning documentaries, speakers, panel discussions, Q&As, exhibitors and more! Issues such as sustainability, human rights, anti-oppression and justice is often explored throughout this festival.
If you would like to volunteer, you can email Janice Morris at [email protected] at any time.
This opportunity is open to 19+ individuals but at 10 of 12 films that are rated for youth, youth are welcome to volunteer.
In your email, specify the dates you are available. These dates all fall during Reading Week at KPU.
Dates:
* MOST NEEDED: Thursday, February 20, 2020: Starting at 11am (up until 9:30pm)
* MOST NEEDED: Friday, February 21, 2020: Starting at 10am (up until 10:00pm)
* Saturday, February 22, 2020: Starting at 10am (up until 10:00pm)

It’s official. It’s past midnight. Same s*x marriage has been legalised and abortion has been decriminalised in Northern Ireland. A historic day and the start of a new era for Northern Ireland!
For the first time in history in Northern Ireland, women can seek an abortion without fear of imprisonment, thanks to the determined and unwavering campaigning of some amazing activists.
