πŸ’™β Father’s Day Fun Continues! βπŸ’™

Today, our little learners enjoyed the felt story Daddy Monster’s Special Stars before going on an exciting classroom star hunt! As they discovered each star, they shared something special about their dad, building confidence, language, and social skills. 🌟

The children then worked together to create a giant DADDY poster, exploring big and small letter D's through collaborative, hands-on learning. They also created beautiful "I Love Dad" Dot Art, carefully choosing their dad’s favourite colour to make their artwork extra meaningful. 🎨

To finish the day, we used playdough mats to build the letter D, strengthening fine motor skills, letter recognition, and early literacy through play-based STEAM learning.

What a wonderful day celebrating the special dads and father figures in our lives! πŸ’™

Today we explored seashells through play, discovery, and creativity! We enjoyed our Five Little Seashells felt story, investigated a large seashell using our senses, and shared what we noticed about its texture, shape, and smell. πŸ”πŸš

At the sensory table, children searched for seashells and sorted them by size, building early math and STEM skills. We also painted and decorated seashells with glitter, adding sparkle to our ocean creations. ✨🎨🐚 One of our favorite moments was pretending a large seashell was a telephone and chatting with friends! ☎️🐚

Learning comes alive through hands-on exploration, creativity, and play. πŸ’™

Along the way, they practiced counting, sorting, pattern-making, problem-solving, creativity, and fine motor skills.

Through play-based learning, children are building early math and science skills while exploring the wonders of the ocean one splash at a time! πŸ’™βœ¨

πŸŒŠπŸ™ Ocean Adventure Continues! πŸ™πŸŒŠ

Today we dove into the ocean and learned all about our amazing octopus friends! We transformed our classroom into an underwater world, watched an octopus video, and discovered that octopuses have 8 arms, 3 hearts, 9 brains, no bones, and can release ink to hide from predators.

πŸ’ƒπŸ™ We also had fun moving and dancing like octopuses, stretching our arms, wiggling our tentacles, and exploring how these fascinating creatures move through the ocean.

πŸ”’ Through our octopus balloon activity, we practiced number recognition and counting, strengthening early math skills through hands-on play.

🎨 We finished our adventure by creating colorful octopus artwork, encouraging creativity, fine motor development, and self-expression.

A wonderful day of ocean exploration, movement, creativity, and STEM learning! πŸ’™

🐞πŸͺ² As we wrapped up our Insect & Bug Theme, our little explorers stayed busy learning through play! πŸ“šβœ¨ We enjoyed interactive story time with books and felt stories, bringing our tiny bug friends to life through imagination and conversation.

Our children strengthened their fine motor skills and colour recognition by sorting and matching different insects, while also practicing counting and early math skills. πŸ”΄πŸŸ’πŸŸ‘ During our nature exploration, the children became little scientists β€” searching carefully for bugs, observing their movements, and counting how many they could find in our environment. πŸŒΏπŸ”πŸž

For our creative art experience, we explored leaf stamping to create beautiful insect-inspired artwork, using natural materials to connect art and nature together. πŸƒπŸŽ¨ The children showed so much curiosity, focus, and excitement throughout the week!
