🍎🍂 Apple & Harvest Week 🍂🍎

This week, the children enjoyed learning all about apples and the harvest season. During circle time, we talked about the different parts of an apple, the seeds inside, and how a tiny apple seed grows into a beautiful apple tree. 🌱🌳

The children also had fun creating their own apple craft by tearing and gluing colourful pieces of paper. This activity helped strengthen their fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination. 🎨✂️

For our taste-testing activity, the children explored different flavours by trying apples with salt, sugar, and syrup. They shared which flavour they liked the most and learned about sweet and salty tastes. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience filled with creativity, discovery, and lots of delicious fun! 🍎😋

👷‍♀️👷‍♂️ Learning about our Community Workers! 🏗️💛

Today, we explored how different workers help keep our community safe and strong! Our field trip took us to a construction site, where we met a construction worker and learned how hard hats protect us. ⛑️

Back in class, our little learners used their creativity to design community worker hats representing who they might want to be when they grow up! 🎨🧠✨

A fun day of play-based learning, STEM, creativity, and real-world discovery! 🌟

🚒☀️ A Fun-Filled Week! 💦🍦

We started our week learning about Community Helpers, with a special focus on our brave Firefighters! 🚒👩‍🚒 The children enjoyed creating their own fire trucks and learning how firefighters help keep our community safe.

Next, our little explorers made their own binoculars 🔭 and had fun looking and discovering! We also learned about Lifeguards and how they help keep us safe around water. 🛟

To enjoy the beautiful weather, we had lots of fun with water play 💦, followed by a relaxing picnic outside. 🧺🌿

And of course, we ended our fun day with a special summer treat — ice cream! 🍦😋

A wonderful week filled with learning, creativity, outdoor fun, and happy memories! ❤️✨

🦖✨ Dinosaur Discovery Day! 🧊💦

Today, our little explorers started inside with a Dinosaur Shadow Drawing activity. They observed dinosaur shadows and traced them onto paper, exploring light and shadows while practicing creativity and fine motor skills. 🦖✏️

Then, we moved outside for a Frozen Dinosaur Rescue! The children used spray bottles filled with water to melt the ice and rescue the frozen dinosaurs. 🧊🦕💦

A fun day of science, creativity, and learning through play! 💚

🦖🎨 Dinosaur Dig & Dino Art Day!

Our little explorers had fun digging for dinosaurs, making discoveries, and creating their own dinosaur artwork! 🦕💚

Through playful STEM learning, children practiced fine-motor skills, problem-solving, creativity, communication, turn-taking, sharing, cooperation, and confidence. 🔎🎨🤝

Learning is always more fun when it feels like play! 💛

🦖🌿 Dinosaur Adventure Day! 🦕✨

Today, our little explorers stepped into the exciting world of dinosaurs! The children had a wonderful time exploring our dinosaur sensory area, playing with different dinosaur figures, and using their imagination to create their own prehistoric adventures. 🦖🌋

For our art activity, the children created beautiful dinosaur paintings using different colors and textures. 🎨 They enjoyed experimenting with paint while expressing their creativity and making their own unique dinosaur artwork.

Through these fun hands-on activities, the children practiced their fine motor skills, creativity, sensory exploration, imagination, and language development while learning more about dinosaurs. 💚

It was a day full of discovery, creativity, and lots of dinosaur fun! 🦕🦖✨

🏰🎨 Once upon a paintbrush… a castle came to life! ✨

Today, our little artists took our fairy-tale theme outdoors and turned cardboard into a magical castle filled with color, creativity, and imagination! 🖌️🌈

As they painted, mixed colors, explored shapes and patterns, and worked together, they were learning through play without even realizing it. 💡❤️ From experimenting with paint to making choices about their designs, our castle adventure brought creativity, STEM learning, problem-solving, fine-motor skills, social skills, teamwork, communication, sharing, cooperation, and imagination together in one joyful activity.

We love watching children take an idea and make it their own while learning how to work together, take turns, share materials, encourage one another, and celebrate each other’s ideas. 🤝💕

There were happy surprises, colorful discoveries, and LOTS of messy fun along the way! 👑🎨

Our fairy-tale journey continues… and we can’t wait to see where their imaginations take us next! 🏰✨

👑✨ Cinderella, Numbers & Learning Through Play! 👠💫

Today, our little learners stepped into the world of Cinderella! 📖✨ After the story, we went on a fun number hunt, matching numbers to their pairs—just like Cinderella’s glass slipper! 🔢👠

Through play, we practiced early STEM skills, problem-solving, teamwork, number recognition, and fine motor skills while encouraging creativity, friendship, and confidence. 🤝🎨

We also soaked up the sunshine with our friends and ended the day creating our very own magical glass slippers! ☀️💕

✨ Learning is more meaningful when little minds can explore, create, connect, and have fun!

🧜‍♀️💦🌼 Fairytale Learning Through Play! 📚✨

As we continue our Fairytale Theme this week, our little learners have been discovering that stories can inspire us to play, explore, create, wonder, and learn together. 💛

🧜‍♀️ Yesterday, we explored The Little Mermaid with hands-on water play! 💦 Our children experimented with pouring, scooping, splashing, and observing what happens in water—building early STEM skills through sensory, open-ended play. Along the way, we practiced sharing materials, taking turns, communicating with friends, and working together.

🐻 Today, we stepped into Goldilocks and the Three Bears! During our outdoor circle time, we listened to the story, talked about the characters and their choices, and connected the story to everyday social-emotional learning. We talked about listening to our parents and teachers, following rules, respecting others’ belongings and personal space, and making thoughtful choices. 🌟

🌼🎨 Then nature became part of our classroom! We gathered yellow flowers outdoors and used them in our arts and crafts. The children explored color, texture, patterns, observation, fine-motor skills, creativity, and cause-and-effect as they designed their own artwork.

🌿📚💦 From water exploration to nature art and storytelling, our learning is happening naturally through play, curiosity, movement, conversation, and hands-on discovery.

Because the best learning often happens when little hands are busy, little minds are curious, and imaginations are free to grow. 💕✨

✨ Fairy Tale Week! 👑📚

This week, we brought fairy tales to life through stories, creative play, and hands-on learning! The children built language and literacy skills while exploring kindness, teamwork, and helping others. They designed their own crowns, wands, and castles, using creativity, problem-solving, and STEM thinking. 🏰🪄

We also enjoyed the beautiful weather, learning and growing together through outdoor play. 🌞💚
