Thank you for the great support of our dedicated parent of the Egyptian Academy.. we had a successful mother's day rose sale fundraiser event today. 🌷💐🌸

The Egyptian Academy would like to share with you the efforts of one of the parents to support and raise funds for our school.

We also want to stress on the Islamic value of our parents in Islam; specially our Mom's as prophet Muhammad said :

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : "جاء رجل إلى رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فقال : يا رسول الله، من أحق الناس بحسن صحابتي؟، قال: (أمك) ، قال: ثم من؟ قال: (أمك) ، قال: ثم من؟ قال: (أمك) ، قال: ثم من؟ قال: (أبوك) متفق عليه

🕋 Very proud of Level 2 & 3 student leading and presenting Hajj projects. Teaching and learning about Hajj with an interactive and hands on projects is our philosophy to retain information while having fun 😁

The blessed month of Ramadan is almost coming to an end.

We ask Allah (SWT) to accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and to make us among those whom He frees from the Hellfire.

On this blessed occasion, we would like to inform you that next Sunday, March 22nd, will be a day off from school in celebration of Eid.

May Allah accept our Ramadan, grant us forgiveness, and allow us to witness many more Ramadans in good health and strong faith.

We wish you and your family a blessed and joyful Eid.

The Egyptian Academy team is hoping you are enjoying Ramadan and making the best out of it with fasting , doaa, charity and all good deeds.

Soon we are all approaching Eid Elfitr Almubarak, may Allah make it a blessed and happy time for the Ummah.

لَن تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا مِن شَيْءٍ
فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ (92) آل عمران

We are encouraging and teaching our students the value of giving and sharing. We hope you will be part of this initiative with the help of your little ones.
therefore we hope you all participate in the EID TOY DRIVE we are having on Sunday March 8 & 15. All proceeds will isA go to Nisa Homes.

Nisa Homes Vancouver has been a haven for women and children fleeing violence, poverty, or homelessness since 2016.

Nisa homes child and youth care worker suggested these requests:

[New and not used toys please]
-Toddler toys (2-3 year olds)
- *No* board games
-Toys for boys and girls between ages between 5-10

"Girly" things, ie: braclet making station arts and crafts, sensory toys

As for the amount we would happily welcome any amount in Sha Allah the home tends to go through toys quite fast between general usage at the home and gifting them to our clients! Just for a frame of reference we went through about 70 toys within 2-3 months so any amount would be most appreciated!!

A successful Ramadan basket event for our 11th year in a row.

Asalam alykom dear parents,

As we approach the blessed month of Ramadan. A time of compassion ,generosity, and caring for those in need. The Egyptian Academy is pleased to announce that our teen and pr***en students are excited to continue with the 11th "Ramadan Food Basket Fundraiser" campaign.
Our yearly initiative that is not only an opportunities to support meaningful cause, but also a chance for our teens to learn the values of compassion, service and social responsibilities that are central to our faith especially during this blessed month.

This year, to help address food insecurity for vulnerable individuals and families. we are collaborating with both the Muslim Food Bank, the Nisa Home.
We encourage you to support our teens by contributing generously and helping spread the word. Every donation, big or small helps reinforce the spirit of Sadaqah and community care.

How can you help? Here is a list of ways:

1) Monetary Donations - collected by February 15th

2) Non-Perishable Food Items as listed below - collected at 11:00 am on Sundays February 1, February 8 , and February 15th

3) E. Transfer to [email protected] Please write "Ramadan basket" in the note section.
