We've spent the last couple of weeks learning first about the Desert and then about the Pond and all the creatures that live there.

A bellated Happy Mother's Day to all our Mom's past and present. A big thank you for all the Mom's and Grandma's that attended our annual Mother's Day Tea. It was a huge success!

Today our world travels took us to Mexico. We learned all about the people and animals that make Mexico their home. We made maracas and Churro muffins. We took turns trying to smash the pinata and finally it broke to shower candy on us!

In April, we learned all about planting. In our little garden we planted carrots, radishes and green beans! Our world travels took us to the Netherlands. We tried stoopwaffles, painted tulips and danced traditional Dutch dances. We finished the month learning all about all different types of birds and we made birds nest cookies.

We had so much fun with all our Easter activities! Teacher Tunde turned our house room into the Easter bunny's house. We made bunnies, dyed eggs, decorated egg cookies and found lots of chocolate eggs at our Easter Party!

This month our World Tour continued with a trip to Ireland the land of green, rainbows and shamrocks. We made Irish cookies, paper sheep and danced a jig with our shamrock ribbon wands.

We once again tried to catch a Leprechaun and he escaped. He left a mess, peed in our toilet, forgot to flush and left us some chocolate gold coins.

Spring is in the air here at daycare!!!!

We finished the month of February feeling very royal, talking about all our favourite Princesses. Teacher Tunde's Beauty and the Beast Castle House room was a bug hit! We also channeled our inner Superhero's and loved playing in the "Bat Mobile".

We are very excited cause Spring has sprung at Daycare!

Gung Hay Fat Choy! Our world travels this month took us to China! We learned all about the culture and the people that live there. We also celebrated Lunar New Year by making dumplings and dancing a dragon dance to Chinese music.
