We had a lovely day at Garry Point in Steveston, simply taking our time and enjoying the beauty around us. We watched the kites dancing in the sky—and yes, people… pigs do fly! 🐷🪁😄
Sometimes, slowing down and enjoying the little things is exactly what we need. 🌊☀️ An ice cream and hot dog at the beach, followed by a bowl of noodle soup at a sidewalk café. Nothing fancy—just simple pleasures that go a long way.

It was an early start at the dojo for a good old crash-and-bang session with one of my top guns—who happens to be a third of my age! 🥋💥

All said and done, it was a lot of fun, a great workout, and a good reminder that age is just a number… although the recovery time might tell a different story! 😂

Always good to push yourself, train hard, and have some fun along the way.

Another awesome, sweaty session at the dojo! 🥋🔥

We worked on stand up and ground fighting and challenged ourselves with some more gravity exercises on the high bar. It’d probably be easier if I weighed a little less… but hey—more weight for me to lift and more weight for me to suffocate them 💪 😅

Keep training, keep challenging yourself, and keep pushing those limits!

Congratulations to our three junior instructors on attaining their new levels and rising to the next stage of their journey! 👏🥋
They’ve been at the dojo all week, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.—running the kids’ summer camps, teaching classes, and then staying to train themselves.
That’s dedication. That’s commitment. That’s leadership.
They are machines with purpose, and we couldn’t be prouder of the example they’re setting for the next generation. Congratulations! 🥋💪
