On Friday, September 17 students and staff at Hjorth Road Elementary celebrated Dot Day. Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds book “The Dot” our students showed what we can create when we trust in our abilities, use our talents, inspire each other, show courage and use our imaginations!

With a third of Hjorth Road Elementary students coming from low-income families, the Surrey school is hoping donations to Vancouver Sun Children's Fund's Adopt-A-School program can help provide much-needed grocery gift cards for struggling families.
Hjorth Road is one of several local schools with complex challenges & high needs that are participating this year's Adopt-A-School program.
