This month in the Studio we're exploring paper!
Often, paper is taken for-granted and overlooked. Paper is more than a material, it’s a language. The possibilities of paper are endless allowing children to transform their ideas into tangible creations. From mark-making to folding, tearing, layering, and constructing, paper becomes a medium through which children think, communicate, and make meaning. Join us to rediscover the true value and potential of paper by exploring it ourselves.

When: Thursday, May 28, drop-in anytime between 6:00 and 7:30 pm and be ready to be inspired!
Open Studio is a drop-in for you to come explore when the time is best for you, no registration is required, just drop by.

Apply now to share your expertise and experience at our 30th annual Children the Heart of the Matter Conference to be held February 26 & 27, 2027. Consideration will be given to presenters whose proposals demonstrate best practices in guiding and caring, reflect diversity, inclusive practice, and align with the BC Early Learning Framework. All topics must be relevant to the early care and learning field.

The Role of Media in Young Children’s Development
