☀️🚌🌊🍦 A Day Full of Adventure, Exploration & Sweet Treats! 💛

Our JK2 classes had such a wonderful day filled with excitement from the moment we stepped onto the bus! 🚌✨ The bus ride to White Rock Beach was an adventure of its own, with lots of happy faces and anticipation for the day ahead.

Once we arrived, our little explorers were ready to discover! 🌊🐚 We spent the day exploring the shoreline, dipping our feet into the water, feeling the sand beneath our toes, and observing all the little wonders the beach had to offer. From splashing and collecting treasures to simply enjoying the fresh ocean air, there were so many opportunities for curiosity, discovery, and learning through play. 💦☀️

And what better way to end a beach adventure than with a special treat? 🍦😋 Our JK2 friends enjoyed some delicious ice cream while soaking up the sunshine and sharing lots of smiles and laughter!

It was a day full of new experiences, joyful moments, friendship, and memories that we’ll treasure. 💕🌊 We loved watching our little learners explore the world around them with such excitement and wonder!

What an incredible Fun Day at Rothewood Academy White Rock! ☀️🎉

Our school was filled with excitement, laughter, and smiling faces from start to finish. From fun-filled games and engaging activities to special moments shared between children and their families, it was truly a day to remember. 💛

Watching our students explore, play, and celebrate alongside their loved ones is what makes events like these so meaningful. The energy, joy, and sense of community we felt throughout the day was absolutely heartwarming.

A big thank you to all of our amazing families for coming out, participating, and making the day so special. We are so grateful to be part of such a supportive and connected community we loved every single moment! ✨

Summer Camp at Rothewood Academy White Rock was extra special with our Junior Chefs Week! 🍕🧁🥤

Our little chefs had the best time getting hands-on in the kitchen rolling out pizza dough, blending fresh fruit smoothies, and decorating cupcakes with lots of creativity (and sprinkles, of course!) 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

From building fine motor skills to exploring new tastes and textures, this week was full of fun, learning, and teamwork. We are so proud of our budding chefs and the confidence they showed trying something new! 💛

Our graduates have grown in so many incredible ways this year building friendships, gaining confidence, exploring their curiosity, and developing a love for learning that will carry them forward. To our wonderful Rothewood families and community,

We are so excited to invite you to our annual Fun Day on Saturday, July 25th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (drop-in)! This event is perfect for children aged 1–5 years old.

Get ready for a morning full of laughter, creativity, and adventure! Our school will be transformed into a magical experience with themed classrooms like Ocean, Pirates, Chefs, Fairies, and more. There will also be bouncy castles, hot dogs, ice cream, and so much more to enjoy!

Enjoy amazing activities including face painting, balloon artists, and a special puppet show by the one and only Zox the Fox.

If your child currently attends Rothewood Academy White Rock, you do not need to sign up through this link and can instead purchase a stamp card directly from Ms. Rachel in July.

At Rothewood Academy White Rock, our Community Helpers theme came to life in the most meaningful way 🚑✨

Our children had an incredible opportunity to learn firsthand from the Paramedics of BC Education Unit—exploring how they help keep our community safe while asking questions, discovering new tools, and building real-world connections.

Watching their curiosity, excitement, and learning grow was truly amazing 💛

A sweet way to celebrate our JK3 graduates 🐝🍯✨

Today we took our learning beyond the classroom and hopped on the school bus for a very special graduating field trip to the Honey Bee Centre. The excitement started the moment we boarded the bus and carried through the entire day! From discovering the important role bees play in our world to exploring how honey is made, our curious learners asked questions, made connections, and embraced every moment together.

Watching these children grow, explore, and become confident learners has been such a joy. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished this year and can’t wait to see them take their next big steps.

Here’s to our amazing JK3’s your future is as bright (and sweet!) as honey 💛🐝
