We met by chance in the kitchen so many years ago, and thus began a love affair that would last for the ages. You were sweet and tender, sometimes cold on the surface, but always warm and loving on the inside. Your bold personality makes people instantly fall in love with you, your fickleness is at times both maddening and intoxicating, yet we always come back for more. Today is your day, and we celebrate you with beautiful memories, the bliss of what the future might bring, and a tall glass of milk.
January 27th is International Chocolate Cake Day, what more needs to be said.

With temperatures well into the high 30's this week we thought it would be wise to share the signs of extreme heat and tips to cooling down. Many municipalities across the Greater Vancouver Area will be activating their extreme heat responses, so please reach out if you need assistance. Keep an eye out for these signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, stay hydrated and check out some of the ways you can keep cool during these next few days. Stay safe and cool out there!

Three reasons to consider charitable giving in your wealth plan 08/12/2021

More and more, people are wanting to build philanthropy and charitable giving in their personal and business financial plans. We have been setting up Foundations for individuals so they can donate to the charities of their choice. It's more accessible than you might think - the minimum to set up a foundation is $10,000 and it makes giving easy.

This kind of work is so rewarding!

I've included an article from the Burnaby Now paper with additional information about creating a charitable giving plan, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Three reasons to consider charitable giving in your wealth plan “More and more, people are considering charitable giving, outside of their will, when formulating a wealth plan,” says Tracey Lundell, an Investment Advisor with Sea Glass Wealth Advisory Group , part of Harbourfront Wealth Management.
