It is a very special time of the year as we approach Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Parkaash Purab.

We are very excited to host a Fun Fair at KSN (6933 124 Street) from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, November 26th, following the Bhog of Akhand Paath Sahib at 10am.

The fun fair will have bouncy castles, inflatable games, cotton candy, popcorn, pizza, photobooth and several arts and crafts activities.

This event is free of cost and open to all. We look forward to seeing you all there.

This upcoming weekend we will be commemorating the first Barsi program of Bhai Ripudaman Singh Malik, the Head Sevadar and driving force behind Khalsa Schools of BC from 1986 to 2022.

Exciting news for our students and parents at Khalsa School Newton

At Khalsa School, it is our passion is to continually improve the level of education at our school. So we are proud to announce that starting in September 2023, we will be an IB Candidate School! Khalsa School Newton will be joining the International Baccalaureate Middle Years program and offering an IB education to many of our Grade 6 and 7 students! Khalsa Secondary School will also be part of the program and offer it to Grades 8, 9 and 10. We have joined this program because it is proven to deepen student learning and prepare students very successfully for the challenges of post-secondary education.

We are so proud of Harkeerat Kaur Gill from Grade 2 for placing 1st in the 2022 National Forest Week Drawing Contest hosted by Canadian Institute of Forestry. It is always nice to see one of our students achieve something so impressive, whether it be academically, artistically, religiously or in sports.

We are excited to acknowledge and share the amazing accomplishment of our students at Khalsa School Newton

With 2, 129 schools competing from 133 different countries, our Grade 5 average score has ranked 6th overall in the International Coding Competition hosted by Codementum

We are so proud of our students and staff for representing our school on the international platform and bringing pride to our school.

Thank You to this Grade 4 Class from Khalsa School Newton Campus.
They did a fundraiser and collected $390.00 dollars. All the proceeds were generously donated to Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen.
It was a pleasure meeting these wonderful children and having a chance to discuss with them what GNFK does.
