🐻💙 Parkside Home & School is kicking off another year!

Our first monthly meeting will be Wednesday, October 14th, at 5:15 p.m. at the school, and we would love to see some new faces!

There are so many different ways to help throughout the school year, and volunteering does not have to mean a big time commitment. Whether you can help regularly, once in a while, at one event, from home, or just when something fits your schedule—we will happily take whatever you can give! Every bit of help makes a difference. 💙

Our meetings will take place at 5:15 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, with our November meeting moved by one week due to Remembrance Day:

Dear Parents/Guardians,

In the spring of 2027, Parkside will present “Disney’s The Lion King Jr.” – the musical! Students in grades 2-6 may participate in auditions, which will begin later this month. Students who plan to audition should have a parent/guardian complete the Google Form (linked below) by Friday, September 25, 2026 OR complete a paper copy of the audition form that students can pick up from Mrs. Arsenault in the music room.

Rise and shine, Parkside families! ☀️

School breakfast programs play a critical role is student health, academic performance, and overall school culture. In the past, Parkside’s Breakfast has fed our students 4 days a week, serving up delicious morning options like smoothies, toast with cheese, yogurt tubes, muffins, croissants, and fruit bars! 🥐🧀

This program is run entirely by volunteers. To keep this valuable program running smoothly and ensuring we can continue 4 days a week, we are in need of more volunteers!

💙 schedule: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM (just 1 hour!)
💙 frequency: 1 morning a week
💙 duties: preparing toast for classrooms
