We’re excited to share that Katie White has been selected by Golf Canada as Assistant Coach, Team Canada – NextGen Girls, on a one-year maternity leave contract. ⛳️

Katie is the Head Teaching Professional at Fox Meadow Golf Course and Head Coach of PEIGA’s provincial team program. A Class A PGA of Canada member and CDC-certified coach, Katie also brings previous collegiate coaching experience to the role.

We’re incredibly proud to see Katie take this next step in her coaching career and represent PEI on the national stage. Her experience, knowledge and commitment to developing athletes will be a tremendous asset to the NextGen Girls program.

Congratulations, Katie! We’re excited to follow along and wish you all the best in this exciting opportunity! 👏⛳️

A few days late, but meet Cam Shurman, our July Faces of Farming feature! 👨‍🌾

From the fields of Dunk River Farms to the classrooms at Dalhousie Agricultural College - farming has always been part of Cam Schurman's life. As the recipient of the 2025 PEIFA, PEI Agromart & Island Lime Agriculture Leadership Scholarship, Cam continues to develop his passion for sustainable agriculture and leadership in the industry, carrying forward his family's five-generation farming legacy. In the future, he hopes to apply his education and hands-on experience to help Dunk River Farms toward a more sustainable and innovative future for generations to come.

Join SUSC in Honouring Steve Campbell

Summerside United Soccer Club invites their members, alumni, friends, and the entire soccer community to come together as they celebrate the life and legacy of Steve Campbell.

For more than 13 years as Club President, Steve dedicated countless hours to helping Summerside United grow and creating opportunities for players of all ages. His leadership, passion, and commitment left a lasting impact on the club and on so many people throughout the Island soccer community.

On Saturday, August 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Summerside Turf Field, current and former players will take the field together to honour Steve's memory and celebrate everything he meant to SUSC.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Whether you played with Steve, coached alongside him, knew him through the club, or simply want to support the Campbell family and the Summerside United community, they would love to have you there.

If you have a soccer jersey, you are encouraged to wear it as we come together to celebrate a life dedicated to the beautiful game.
