A special thank you to Katie, Pat, Cruz, and Tug for a wet and yummy Meet & Greet. The school children then went to Holmans for their free ice cream since they were wearing helmets (an awareness event from the Brain Injury Assn). A fun and relaxing day for sure. 22 km maybe never tasted so sweet. đ

We have been learning a lot about sea creatures this summer! This fella wanted to make a great white shark. It was important that he had all the fins of the shark added to his creation. âșïžïżŒ

A fun and yummy Halloween in the summer for the school aged children. If you look closely, youâll see the chalk outlines of each house and the entrance ways.

This morning was another yet wonderful experience that the school children have had with BBEMA. They participated in an estuary discovery on Green Shore. Finding everything from silversides, mommy chugs, flounders, hermit crabs, green crabs, shrimp, and many more. Ask your child which of the fish is more sensitive to being held and should be put right back in the open waters.
And, âyouâre welcomeâ to the shrimp we saved from being eaten by a hermit crab (we wonât mention the school child that thought it would be a neat experiment).

The wait was worth it!
This was the best ever!
For the school children, it was simply a splendid day at Sandspit. What more can we say. đ
